What’Surbag – Best Reusable Bag Yet

Let’s talk bags. We all have them, we all use them…some better than others. Most of us have the canvas freebies (or other cheapies) in abundance at this point. And while I do my best to remember to take my reusable bags to the store, I often forget. Just have not come up with a good system for that yet.

But then there are the other types of reusable bags – slick, shiny, decorated, lovely bags. Somehow this find their way into my hands more of the time. I use them to lug around work, take them to the pool/gym, hand them out to the kids to haul their stuff around in. Cute ideas for tote bags abound these days as witnessed in Jitesh Patel's book The Tote Bag.

Well, this latest one to cross my desk is by far my favorite reusable bag ever. It is cute, classy and stretchy. Stretchy? Yep, how ingenious is that?

What’Surbag’s slogan is “fill it up and see what it can do”. So, I thought…”ok, I will”. While I will admit I usually consider looks over how much a bag can hold, this did catch my attention. And it is not only how much what’Surbag can hold, but how it holds it. The bag’s spring-i-ness actually makes it easier to carry. Not so heavy or awkward.

Now for the bag’s looks. Mine is glittery and gold (my fave color!) and looks both low key enough to be a carry-around and glitzy enough to not look like, well…a carry-around. When I take this bag places someone always comments on it or asks where I got it. It comes in lots of other cool colors too.

This bag also carry some charitable clout. As part of the Hope and Strength JAPAN series, 100% of profits from these bags goes is donated to the American Red Cross “Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund.” Even cooler.
