Acure Organic Hair Care

By now you may have discovered something about organic cosmetics – while skincare and makeup are absolutely equal in performance to the chemical stuff (and often better than), hair care is a different story.  And if you have fine, delicate hair it is an even bigger challenge to find hair products that work.

When I first started with organic cosmetics several years ago nontoxic shampoos and conditioners left my hair dry, limp and scraggly.  I had to do some serious hair rehab from trying line after line of natural hair care.

Since then I have found a few natural products for hair that I love and use regularly, but I can count those on one hand.  They are Rare El’ements Replenishing Essential Conditioner and a few John Masters products, namely the Citrus & Neroli Detangler (which my daughter and I also use as conditioner).  I may use an organic shampoo for a week or two, but then almost always have to sub chemical shampoo back in to revive my dried out, flat locks.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I received a surprise sample packet in the mail with little bottles of shampoo and conditioner from a brand I had not heard of.  I will admit that the samples ended up on my desk for a few days before I tried them out.  At this point I never really relish the idea of putting my hair through another round with a subpar shampoo/conditioner.

Well, I did finally get around to trying them.  Just used them that day in the shower and really did not think much more about it.  Until later that is, when I reached up and touched my hair and realized how soft and lovely it felt.  I had to think back to figure out why it felt so silky and remembered the little bottles of product I’d used.

“What are these miracle products?” you are probably wanting to know?  Acure Organics!  Acure makes a line of shampoos and conditioners that are not only healthy and high-performance, but reasonably priced too.

I tried the Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell shampoo and conditioner for fine and limp hair.  Love it!  And, of course, I immediately bought the big bottles.  Also come in Lemongrass + Argan Stem Cell for all hair types, and Moraccan Argan Oil + Argan Stem Cell for dry, damaged and curly hair.

A must try!
