What is Your Skin Telling You?

For many of us it may be "I'm feeling a little dry".  Once fall weather hits it does not take long for our skin to become sapped of moisture.  Have you noticed that your lips feel chapped?  Maybe you've been searching for that hand cream?  Well, don't forget about your face.

You may not notice the first signs of drier skin -- slightly tight feeling, duller complexion, a little flakiness.  These tiny yet telltale signs are your signal to add more moisture.  Wait and you will be dealing with red patches, irritation and even breakouts.

To keep skin fresh, healthy and supple all through the chilly months start now with a more hydrating moisturizer.  My fave of the season is Skincando Luxe Miracle Cream.  It is made with light plant oils that are very hydrating yet, because they are light, soak right into skin leaving behind no greasy complexion.  I wear it day and night right now, but if your skin is not super dry you may be able to get by with your regular moisturizer for day and treat skin to a healthy dose of this at night.

Right now Skincando is running a special just for us!  Head over to my post on Feelgood Style for the details and stock up on your Miracle Cream now.

Another tip this season...exfoliate.  Sloughing skin (face and body) of dry, dead skin cells will keep it looking fresh and glowing.  It also creates a nice smooth surface for moisturizer and makeup.  My go-to exfoliators are a good ol' sugar and milk scrub or Hollybeth's Grits and Honey.

Easy steps to keeping your skin healthy and radiant.
